Permalink Reply by Carolyn Walsh on August 9, 2008 at 10:31am Well, as a newbie to Zoomers, but not so new to the baby boomer generation, I am interested in getting to know others from the far flung corners of the world that is constantly shrinking because of the Internet. First off, my profile picture was taken in Rajasthan, India this past January where my wife and I spent a month on holidays. The past two years we have been teaching at a university in China, not too far from Shanghai. We are back home in Canada now and we will stay here until the New Year when we take off for a three month sojourn in Ghana, Africa.
I am a father of three and a grandfather of five and a retired school principal. My current hobbies are photography and golf.
... waiting to get to know more of you hanging out here ...

I am a newbee and not sure how to reply to a post. I think your photos are wonderful. Thank you for sharing. I put an album on Zoomers yesterday based on my travel and wanted your impressions. I take terrible photos of buildings and scenery and have concentrated mainly on people portraits. I am hoping this works as have a few ideas about travel companies.

Perhaps we have in some way made a connection already through 50Plus, or Canadian Chatters Online, etc. Hello and nice to see you here if we have.
If we are meeting for the first time, that is wonderful. Looking for that something we have in common? I have been a Half Century club member for a decade now. Have 4 grown children, who have blessed me with grands which I delight in spoiling . I work full time still but find time to create as well. I make shawls, scarves, shrugs among other things to keep me out of too much mischief.
I am an advocate for natural alternative health practices and lead a spartan healthy lifestyle. Humour is the best medicine.
Your turn....... Judy
