Help us help you: what 50+ discounts do you get in Canada?

We're only asking, because we came across this very intriguing Moneyville list of "free stuff" for seniors:

Snow Removal

The City of Toronto is giving residents over 65 the chance to apply for free snow removal of city-owned sidewalks. (Not included in this is your driveway.)

Shopping

Writer Sheryl Smolkin mentions the following chains that offer
up to 20% discount on monthly senior days:

Are there any other chains that you go to that offer senior discounts?

Banks

Smolkin highlights CIBC's 60 Plus Advantage, which offers "a chequing account with free transactions, bank drafts and money orders as well as no monthly fees. Most banks and credit unions offer a comparable package for senior clients."

Which other banks and credit unions have you seen that offer this package?

Arts

Arts institutions like the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Royal Ontario Museum and the Toronto Zoo offer reduced entrance fees for seniors.

But what about cinemas? Comedy Clubs?

Entertainment

According to Smolkin: "Senior Centres regularly run day trips to Niagara Fallsview Casino and Casino Rama. One can only assume legions of seniors descending on casinos across the province have lost enough money to subsidize these excursions."

She also mentions the Square One Older Adults Club, which offers senior day trips to Casino Rama, as well as the Stratford and Shaw Festivals.

Travel

Now, we know that CARP members get a whole slew of travel benefits, but Smolkin highlights Road Scholar, which "offers nearly 8,000 educational tours in all 50 U.S. states and more than 90 countries" that will often close in under $600.

Any other senior discount offers you know of?

I believe that Sears has a monthly Senior's Day where you can receive a discount. I don't know which day it is though.
Via Rail offers discounts to seniors 60+.
