Since Zoomers or Baby Boomers are the largest population why don't we do something about this election. Lets get out a vote Harper in and give him a majority that he needs. Four elections in 7 years is insane.

Just love AM 740.  The music is just great and soothes me throughout my sometime hectic day.  Love to hear the "oldies" and the combination of listening the them while cooking and/or baking just de-stresses me completely.  At my house both my husband and our daughter already know...if mom is baking muffins and listening to AM 740 she is feeling less happy than usual or just needs to de-stress or work out something that is bothering her.  Love to hear Goldhaw as well - so informative and love to hear him roll up his sleeves and make things right when they're wrong.  Love Eva D. too.  She is funny, wise, positive and a great friend to those who have the priviledge of knowing her.  I'm so glad we have A.M. 740 zoomer radio!

Know what you mean Kathryn, I do the same, one radio in the kitchen and the other one in the living room, only on the weekends and during the week at work I listen through the internet

Thanks for the tribute to the year "1954".  It made my morning...you know by now that it made for a "2-radios-on-the-go" day in my apartment...did some "singing along" too!!

RIP music impresario Don Kirshner. "The Man With The Golden Ear" wrote jingles with Bobby Darin and later showcased the best 1970s rock and roll acts on "Don Kirshner's Rock Concert". A music icon, for sure!

Here's a question for the Can-con experts?  Would Jody Miller's recording of "Snowbird" - from a 1970 Nashville session - be considered Canadian content by the CRTC?  If so, might AM740 not add it to the playlist as Canadian content?

Hi: Just wanted to say this is a "Two Radios" Day at my apartment.....the regular one in my dining room and the other one in my bedroom. I am in the second room...on Zoomers' web site....just heard "True Love" and here comes Fats Domino singing "Blueberry Hill". You guys are taking over my life.....and I love it....music from 1956....laugh!
