i know i was on a path once and a bike rider went by me so fast , i could hardly catch my breath...if they do share the path...i like a bell or something but then again...that fast riding really isn't my bike riding.  i admire the ones that can go like that as i saw today on my way to the fruit market. must be 40 miles an hour?

Well it looks like we have some conversations going, which is great! If I could ask that you spread the word and really get this group rockin' and talkin'

I don't go on the paved or unpaved paths. Dodging little kids and puppies is not my idea of fun.

Hi Ruth. Well it only goes as fast as I peddle it. The skinny tires while painfully unforgiving over broken pavement have minimal rolling resistance which means more of my energy goes towards making me go and not so much just overcoming the rolling resistance. One learns to keep an eye on the road ahead and stand up when going over crummy pavement. For offroad use they wouldn't be the way to go of course.

Hi Gary,   that is quite a bike,,,they are the ones that go about 100 miles an hour when i am out walking the paths... the speed you get must be really great.  don't you have to lean quite a bit though.?
