Comment by Laraine Bashford on April 28, 2011 at 7:23pm Hi Michael,
If you are a real Elvis Fan, Gracelands & Memphis is a must to vist, Down Town Beale Street is fantastic. Perhaps some of us from UK could get together to visit Graceland November 2011. The reason I previously went in November was, firstly it is my birthday, and secondly the Christmas lights are switched on the week before Thanks Giving, and it is such a magicial time.
Any fans from Zoomers who wish to meet us there, that would be great.
Love the little ode.!!!!!

lucky girl going to Graceland i have never been, i also have to agree with Angela about AM740 nothing like it in the uk.
I have a little ode for you guys in the group i do hope you like it
A boy from Tupello called The King
And man he really could sing
He belt out Rock n Roll
Till his life took it's toll
And his passing great sorrow did bring

Comment by Laraine Bashford on April 25, 2011 at 7:18pm Hi Micheal, So glad to know you are also an Elvis Fan, join me and all my Elvis friends/fans on Facebook, great to become a friend.
I have been a fan since the early 60's and will still be for the rest of my life, he has always been the greatest and always will be. Went to Graceland 4 years ago, what an emotional time that was for me, I am planning another visit in November 2012, I just can't wait.
I must agree about the music in the UK, it is awful, same old thumping noise.
