nobodyd's been here in 2 & 1/2 years??? wow!

 

i've been absent due to a new computer, a shoulder injury, husband's ankle/foot injury, an adult child needing to mave back home. then of course, i forgot! i only just accidentally found zoomers tonight. i googled myself et voila, here i am!

Trying to get back to a smaller purse but it isnt easy..... everything is in the other purse!

i am new to zoomers and i was browsing the groups and i was delightfully surprised to find this one. who knew!
i have always loved purses of any shape or size. my most expensive purse cost me $150 and it was worth every penny! it's made of the softest leather i have ever owned. currently i am making a big bag. kind of a bohemian bag i guess. i can't wait 'til it's done!

In my defense I had a really difficult month and a half. The Prada bag is my reward and I got it at a great price. However, it is the real thing...Hey cmon girls, at 52, haven't I waited long enough to hang on to the real thing when it comes along???

Hey ladies - new to the site and could not believe there was a group for this. I hate shopping unless someone says the word purse.....sometimes it even takes over to the point where I am just not happy till I find a new one. Is there a cure - I hope not - bet my husband does though lol.

Melody....hi....haven't been on this site for awhile. Congratulations, in restraining yourself from buying a new bag. We are all pulling in the purse strings these days. Hope all is well and you are continuing to enjoy your radio shows. Take care and keep on chattin' online and on the radio.

I must have a bag for each season and it must have many compartments or I am in big trouble. It helps keep me organized. I can't stand to have everything all together in a black hole that I can't see into. That's how stuff disappears. lol We live in a small community so I am pretty safe about being tempted to buy more.

I know what you mean I moved from an isolated place to a place where there are just too many stores and malls so close by, cities and towns...overwhelming, everytime I see a shoe or purse store I have to tell myself I don't need it so I plan to use as a reward when I lose 20 pounds....it may be a couple of months away!!!
