I am going to Kirkland Lake for homecoming next week. Looking forward to the drive up that hill to the "Northern Ontario Outback"

I have flowers in all the flower beds and I chose gold and white this year, dusty millers , lemon yellow marigolds, spikes and English ivies. Perennials are up too so am quite happy with my selections, now for the flowers to do their job and grow to be pretty  for the summer.

thank you cloe. Your poor tulips, good thing there are so hardy. I guess we are paying for last year. most of our snow was gone by mid march then. I had some extra daffodil bulbs in the basement, so I planted them in a indoor pot. Maybe I'll get to see some blooms before too long!

we missed the snow fall that northbay and sudbury got. That's fine by me. Had some errands to run today did not get much done other than that.

my daffodils are in budding, would be nice to have flowers for easter. have a great evening.

We will need a few days of sunshine to get rid of this snow!!! spring will come soon I hope.

Walked out in snowmobile trails today with hubby and dog.  It was nice and sunny. felt great.  Haven't seen any signs of bears  yet. Thank goodness.

I'm expecting company for easter, but there's no grandchildren so no easter hunt, Just lots of chocolat. More for me ! lol

have a good evening.

went for a walk yesterday ..it was snowing and here it is April. the temperature was 0 and still it was so nice to walk in the woods. We brought our dogs with us and walked along the cross country ski trails.

There are signs that spring is indeed coming. Pussy willows, may flowers are budding but not yet blooming and bear scat is around!
