It takes one small act of kindness to make a difference.
Lets come up with some ways we can all do something.

It's great to be a 'secret' giver. One of the things I like to do is leave a note in someone's mailbox or on their desk, telling them what I like about them. It could be something like: I saw how kind you were with ____. The world is a kinder place with you in it. I sign it ... A friend who thinks you are terrific.
I have been on the other end of Pay Forward. It gave me a feeding of (I donot know), I did buy a person coffee, later
My girlfriend and I go into a restaurant about once a month for breaky and if I have a bit of extra money on me, I look around and choose a person who I think would be delighted with a free breakfast and I pay and leave, making the clerk promise to not say anything..Once in a while it is a person who has done something nice for me in the past.. Sure feels great.
Last week I was shopping at the goodwill (again) and there was a little girl in the lineup behind me, asking her grandma if she could have a little key chain with an elephant on it.. the grandma had said that she had spent her limit so, being as it was on the counter anyway, I asked the checkout girl to add it to my bill and give it to the little girl when she came through. and I left without talking to the child. I was greeting our new super in the building a few days later and she said "Hey, arent you the lady who bought my grand daughter a little key chain last week?" I had no idea it was my super's grand daughter but I sure got off on the right foot with her... lol
I spent the day last week, opening the doors around town for young teenage boys & men (I am a 66 year old granny) some smiled and said thanks, accepting a seemingly normal act, but many many of them insisted that I go first!! just a little experiment..got some good laughs..
I have lived in a building for about 6 years and just recently met a lady neighbour, we started talking and I found out she is the daughter of a very good friendd I had long ago in another place.. My daughter & I did volunteer work for her mother because her dad was a veteran and so is my daughter.. That will teach me to be more available to chat people up for sure.. I am the kind who loves people but I am also a loner.. I have pretty good people skills but generally like to stay alone for periods of time..I worked at a Gun Club for 8 years and it had 500 members I loved every day I spent there but I wasn't the type to go visit them in their homes... Antisocial extrovert??
