Comment by John D on April 23, 2013 at 12:28pm Real nice contrast of the flowers.. I love the purple ones.
Yes, the solar panels are growing in numbers. I don't mind them at all... much better than the wind turbines.

Comment by Gary on April 3, 2013 at 7:30pm Hi John. I gave mine to my oldest daughter. She's the one taking visual arts at York. The camera was dead reliable and with the leaf shutter flash synced up to top shutter speed of 1/500 sec! A very competent picture taker.
Comment by John D on April 3, 2013 at 7:15pm Gary, I had a Konica rangefinder 35mm with a 1.8 lens. It took the best pictures. I ended up giving it to my son whom I had hoped would appreciate it. That was many moons ago.
Comment by Gary on April 3, 2013 at 6:19pm Well I'm in lust. No two ways about it. I've always loved the old rangefinder 35's that don't use a mirror to flip up so you're blind at the instant of exposure. I had a compact 35 rangefinder by Konica I think it was. A 38mm f 1.8 lens. The perfect tool for available light street photography. A Leica was never on the list sadly but in looking around yesterday I came across the Fujifilm X20. A 28- 115 zoom with aperture of 2-2.8. Gotta love it!
Apparently zoomers doesn't like android so the pic doesn't show. So sad.
Comment by Karen on March 17, 2013 at 11:06pm I see the sap bucket picture made it to the newsletter. That's always a thrill for me :)
