well it's one week in and their seems to be no movement....the mistress of education doesn't like the optics of conversation and negotiation, especially when she doesn't need it....she can do whatever she wants read the Ontario Liberal government....it's union busting....and for a lot of people that's just fine.......they just don't get it.......it's just the tip of the iceburg folks and when the middle class folds you'll be singin' the blues....maybe twenty years from now you'll get to claw it all back?.......too late!  you won't have a pot to piss in by then!.............PEACE!

and away we go........tomorrow will tell the tale or at least the beginning.......this is a very selective thing and the students should not be impacted at all....or at least in a very limited way......hope for the best for everyone!

Ok....teachers....we are on the gusp of intervention by the government of ontario to ask us to give away many of the  standards by which we have fought over the years  in  union bargaining....times have changed? who says? times have changed because big business needs to continue with their surge of never ending profits....they always need more...every year needs to be a record breaking year....not so for teachers....we work, we do the 'job' of teaching, we love what we do....for the real reasons....of human kind......and we only expect reasonable remuneration....we don't expect to have to pay for big business and their inconsistencies and errors. If you don't think we have a reasonable wage, then look again at what you are responsible for doing....putting a widget in a gidget? We deal with your children, on a daily basis....good, bad and indifferent, we have to deal with them five days a week for ten months a year, every year, over and over again, until they grow up........at the end of grade 12 they are actually reasonable young adults, most are quite wonderful! some are still a tragedy waiting to happen...we still give them all we can.........go tell it on the mountain!....go tell your woes to the big banks and big business and corporations...they're the ones who need the spiteful rhetoric of government looking for ways to save our money........think about it!
