annette yes just on the way for the papers, someone is picking me up for breakfast too, light snow here have a great saturday you LynneG
Good morning, and happy weekend, Everybody. Winnie is just one of those cats who does not like having her picture taken, I think. I'll have to search my files to see if I can find one where she isn't looking grumpy. Also she's blind now, so she never seems to have an enthusiastic expression.
It's puzzles day for Alexander. I'll be getting my Sudoku fix. What are the rest of you up to?
I love the kitty pouring the tea. Have a nice weekend everyone.
Annette, I have had one flu shot in my lifetime. It wasn't this year I have not had the flu or a cold. Like Lynne G,I too have mixed feelings about it. Oh Lynne G, by the way, I live in a condo. If the condo or apartment is properly ventilated, I don't see it as a real problem as far as colds/flu are concerned. A lot are not properly aired out and I can see that leading to a real problem. Annette, Winnie looks real ticked off in your picture. Did you catch her doing something wrong? If I don't get a chance to chat with you again, everyone have a great holiday weekend!
CreekEnd_UK...LOL. Is there some nice brownie music playing in the background of Tea Time like Tea For The Tillerman?
Annette, I don't get the flu shot. I have had the flu once in the last 30 years. To each their own. I actually would not get it, even if I could, but I cannot because I am an Epileptic and the doctor won't give it to me. Apparently there is stuff in there than can cause seizures. Well to me that is a no brainer, Epileptic or not. Hubby gets his when he remembers. His Mom gets hers like clockwork and she still gets the flu, living in a senior's apartment building.

I had a flu shot too usually it works but this has been a different winter.
Yes, I get a flu shot, but have mixed feelings about it.
Winnie looks great, but not happy!
I think part of the problem with apartments/condos is the fact that you can't help but breathe air that has been "around". When my Mum was in the nursing home for eight weeks, before she died, she and I had two colds each. I made a point of never drinking or eating there, but that didn't help. Prior to that, I hadn't had a cold for years and years. Not much you can do.
One of my friends drives a school bus and she has been fighting this cold for weeks. What are you going to do with a bus full of kids, spreading germs? Just have to hope you have good resistance, I guess.
