all things related to cats and kitties

OK I was under the impression this group is about cats so I'll risk posting :-) :
My tom kitten was becoming a severe problem, especially with spraying on furniture and a bed (spare!!) so I had to get him neutered. He was a completely different animal - basically only interested in eating now; however yesterday I found he'd forced entry into that spare bedroom and done it again!! No doubt he can still detect his old scent even though there's no hint to me - I've tried everything - peroxide. bleach, and the highly recommended Natures Miracle. I thought this behaviour had ceased months ago - is it spring in the air or what - how can I stop him? Beginning to wish I'd had him euthanized instead!
thanks Marilyn Lou.
Marilyn Lou glad you enjoyed your supper and the movie, you had a good day . Take it slow do not rush.
I put some lemon pepper herbs on my mackerel wrapped a couple of bacon slices around it and baked wrapped in foil in my toaster oven at 350 F.
This evening I watched the VHS tape of the origins of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and their terrible trek across country to get at the American whisky traders who were giving whisky to the First Nations people. The Mounties made good friends of the Black Foot. Interesting history.
Mondays kitties march19th.

Yay, the Blue Jays beat Philly! Laura is Happy Dancing for sure.
Alex, all the kitties are fabulous, as usual. I loved, loved, loved March Kitty and Big Bang Theory Kitty was great too.
Gladys my BIL from my first marriage lives just off of Washburn Island. I lived in Scarborough all of my life except Grade 3 when my Dad was transferred to Montreal for a year. I moved to Brougham (Brock Road and Hwy 7) 31 years ago and have lived here longer than any other place.
MarilynLou, good for you getting out on this gorgeous day to walk to the mail box.
I think the easiest way to cook mackerel is to oil a piece of aluminium foil salt and pepper the fish wrap it up and cook it at 350F for 15-20 minutes. No fuss, no muss and it always comes out flaky. Bob likes his with melted butter in the microwave, dijon mustard, dry white wine, and a couple dashes of Worchestershire. I don't eat it because I am allergic to eat, but I do cook it for him.
Nice walk MarilynLou. You are to be credited for your will to be better!
Like the Big Bang kitty and the Back to School kitty.
It is lovely here today. I took a walk all by myself two blocks to the mail box this afternoon.
Now I have fresh (?) mackerel got at the market the other day, to prepare for supper (or throw out if I don't get it cooked now).
Good afternoon kitty lovers. Great sign for MS Laura52 and hope the hubby feels better soon. Some of you thought I had the cold/flu. Well, I didn't. I have a cold now though. It is on it's way out now I think? Love the kitties Alex. I think I like the makeup on the Kiss kittie. It is so cute. Laura52, my brother moved to Little Britain about 10 years ago. He had been a Scarborough (Toronto) guy up till then. His house is just outside Little Britain backing on to Lake Scugog. It is near Washburn Island? I have only been to see him a couple of times since he moved there. Lynne, the temp. here in T.O. is warm. Tomorrow, Tues. and Wed. are supposed to be 20, 22 and 24 respectively. Whoops, that is 72, 76 and 80 F. That is balmy for this time of year. I am expecting snow in August! Talk with you folks later and have a great day.
