It is strange how important these gadgets become. I did without a computer for a lot of years, now , I'm lost without mine , every day.Television the same way, and microwave.

"Family Day" long weekend here.  I don't think we had that holiday when I was working.

It's a beautiful sunny day here, with temps just hovering on freezing.

Yes Gary, I live in west Toronto and have all of my life.  I have many friends and relatives living in Scarborough but don't get out that way too often.

Looking forward to our long weekend, for Family Day 2012.

Hi there again,

I haven't posted much and have not followed your postings for almost a week due to computer problems.  I get stressed out when my computer fails to work and most especially when I don't see anything but black screen.  Sometimes I feel that I can no longer handle a day without a computer.  I have spent the whole week going back and forth the computer shop, finally working ok but I also ended up buying a new laptop, just in case..  thank goodness that I have an external hard for back up.  I got a lot of catching up to do, and before I forgot.. Happy Family Day!

thanks sfor the wishes guys.Pat, I', in southern Ontario and have to go to the hospital in Lindsay.  I've asked them point blank questions,, and get one answer from one doctor and a totally different one from another one.  If worse comes to worse, I opened communications with my former doctor in Toronto who taught at Sunnybrook.  He is retiring, but his nurse practioner has been with him since day one and they work within a clinic of 6 doctors and as many np. They have files on me dating back to the 70's and have said if I'm stuck, I can get back on as their patient.  It would mean going to TO more often, but I have friends, thank goodness who would help me.  I also have a friend who was a director and professor of nursing down in the states, and she is feeding me resources now to look up with more questions to ask, which I will start to do tomorrow.

Annette, you will be the first one I let know what is happening.
