so fare clear no snow, but windy and cold !  there saying  blowing snow after 2p. well see. Snow for tomorrow might be good thing inspection tomorrow..

I need to get back reserching the family was heavy into it for about 1 year, then stopped, no reason, My grandfather came over from Italy at 19 on his own, two of his brothers were already in living in London, Ont, they were one of the first Italain familes in London, I have copy of his passport and Ellis Island documents, but before age 19 is little fuzzy, he lived with his parents, but school records and such OO so fare, I have discovered so much about "what makes up the family" by researching their history. Here's example, My father hadn't seen his brothers or nephrew in 30 yrs, after his death, I located his nephrew that my father raised, both were in WW 2, when dad was discharged he went and stayed on in Canada, his nephrew went back to Florida, they lost contact, I had heard stories etc. Once located his nephrew we sat for hours, it seemed even though the two hadn't seen each ohter in 30+yrs, most of there likes and dislikes were right on, Then I found out my fathers brothers were the same, and they lived thousands of miles apart, right down to AFTER Shaving Lotion and how they liked there eggs and on, on, So, are we connected beyond just DNA

good morning all.  Yes, I'm glad a the moment I cancelled, the snow is coming down pretty hard.right now, big white fluffy stuff. My NP just called and my INR is crept back u to 2 which is at the very bottom part of normal.  Better than it has been, but still not were it should be given the humungous amount of warfarin I'm now taking.  Plows just went by.  Than means a giant mound at the bottom of my driveway by the road.  Now this is where it doesn't bother me.  My Tarcker just walks right through anything like that.  I'll post a pic when I find them.  I know I have some.  Like
Annette says, I'll just hunker down to day.  But won't be reading It's race contest time for this week.  One of our team's computer crashed 2 days ago and she now has a new one but she lost all her hard drive and is having trouble getting al the programs back on.  There might be just the 2 of us this weekend.  See you later.

I spoke too soon.  Seven hours late, but it's really coming down here now.  Barb just called to cancel our outing so I guess I'll just hunker down with my book for the day.

Having a snow day here.  A total of 15 cm expected by the time this blows out tomorrow.

The church had planned a sleigh ride tonight but I imagine it will be cancelled.

I went into Charlottetown yesterday morning.  My first stop was at the Mormon church to do some family research.  I am looking for a needle in a small haystack.  On great grandfather's British enlistment papers he lists an aunt as next of kin.  The person only wrote down Mrs. Francis and her address.  I am going through the 1891 census for the community in hopes of giving a full name to the aunt.

Second stop was lunch with a friend which turned into a visit to his mom.  "Mom" was not in a chatty mood so the visit was short.

Next I stopped at the Provincial Archives to pick up photocopies I had ordered.  I had thought about continuing some research but my eyes were telling me they had enough strain for the day.  lol

Last, I stopped at a store to get milk then headed home.

Glad I picked up the milk then as I don't want to go out in this windy weather.

I had a '98 Tercel. There were 287,000 km on it when it was traded in 2004.  By that year I was making many trips to Halifax, NS for doctor appointments plus ones at home and I wanted peace of mind while on the road.

I might trade this year for a Yaris.

Have a great day, Everyone.  I hope you are having nicer weather than I am.  lol

Well, so far the great snow storm of the winter has turned out to be a non-event here.  My deck is bare and dry.

Gary, how is that new-car feeling?  6L/100km works out to just under 40 miles per imperial gallon.

Barb, it looks as if we might make it for your appointment after all.

Have a great weekend, Everybody.

Alexander, I'm looking at a glorious sunset and just thinking of what's supposed to be behind it.
