Statins are the most prescribed drugs in the world, and there is no doubt that for people at high risk of cardiovascular problems, the drugs lower not only cholesterol but also the risk of heart attack and stroke. But for years doctors have been fielding reports from patients that the drugs leave them feeling "fuzzy," and unable to remember small and big things, like where they left the car, a favorite poem or a recently memorized presentation.

Last week, the Food and Drug Administration finally acknowledged what many patients and doctors have believed for a long time: Statin drugs carry a risk of cognitive side effects. The agency also warned users about diabetes risk and muscle pain.

Welcome back Marilyn Lou, so nice to have you back, many of us were so concern and missed you so.. Sorry Marilyn Lou that you have gone though the same as me, now 3x exhausted, depressed, disappointed, are enough word to express my emotions right now. Gary my home is 86 yrs old, it receives steams of water, no standing, no puddles, and only from 3 area's, all the houses around here have the same problem I found out she the buyer has the same problem in the house she's selling over 4 blocks away...I am lucky I don't live closer to the Saint Mary's River, those homes flood during the string run off., YOu can see and I didn't of course send you the pic, but the front yard has 21 solar lights outlinig the gardens the back yard has 14 solar lights some arund the patio, in the walk ways and graden area..again this house has brand new roof, insulation, windows, sidding, furnace etc yes Gary I can hang on, the payments are less than ,...... hold on... $600 a month including taxes and insurance.. thats not my tired of mainance and up keep and I want to go across the border and enjoy Canada before am too old to run in the parkand be chased  by a lovely handsome Canadian  man..ahahah

pat what part of Canada are you..?? NO sign of snow here any were, but, were not through March yet, or April, this has been the mildest winter in 30+ yrs.. and In the past I have seen it snow in May..were enjoying what we have for now.. would you believe my Lily's are about 3 inches up and Tulips are coming up too, I so need to get out their, rake, cut back, pull up and trim up

Realestate - it's been done to me! The buyer dropped the deal while I was in the lawyer's office to sign the papers!! And they kep the deposit!! I was depending on that deposit for 1st months rent for an apt. They got away with it and their lawyer actually told me my lawyer let me down and was not paying attention! I got a new lawyer and that one didn't have the nerve to bill me for his "services".

I can't even think about going out and raking.  I still have over 3 feet of snow in places in both my front and back yard.  Maybe in another month or 2?

Over all the weather is bright sunny and windy but warm, about  58 fr.suppose to be near 68 by Friday, then rain rolls in. You right you put down a deposit and you walk away, then you lose the deposit,,,.,,,, but (always that but) you have to show just cause of damages to the seller!!! thiats the fine print... or and they show just cause why they walked away..Now in this case its going to be more differecut for them, because she did sign the disclosure that stated, mositure in the basement during heavy rains and recommends a sump pump to be installed.. She signed the document that she's she read it, and accepts it  there for she can't come back on us and tell us, she had No knownledge of..its always the fine print..but in this case, she didn't even read the BIG PRINT..AHAH, its just so disappointing now it time to brush off my sorrow and get the rake out and rake all the winter branches up

Marilyn, I can't believe that someone would do this.  You don't deserve this frustration.  I don't blame you for going after the deposit.  I don't know much about real estate law but I thought that if your offer had been accepted and the buyer backed out that they lost the deposit.

Bright and cool here today but it's supposed to go up to 10 tomorrow.  Then rain or wet snow on Thurs.  Gary, if you lived up here you would still be waiting for the other shoe to drop so to speak.  We usually get at least one bad storm around St Pat's Day.  Once it gets to the end of March, we start to think that spring is just around the corner.
