It was just that, Bob.  53 m. p. h. tops, ha ha.  

The reason I was able to get it, was that some kids had put sand in the gas tank, and the guy who had it, needed it for transportation, so sold it, to get something else he could use, right away.  It took me a while to get it going and stay going.

I was right in the middle of a left-turn, taking my licence test, and it calved on me; had to run it thru the intersection, ha ha...1969.

A scooter would be just the rig for going to school in the big city!

Gone are the days of being able to park anything downtown, I guess!

Lovely day, here in Muskoka, still have some snow around.

Hello Lynne G.:

I just noticed that you had a Honda 90. I assume that was 90 cc's. Well in the early '60's I had an Italian Lambreta Scooter with 100 cc's and it took me downtown in Montreal to university daily, except in the winter. It was fun driving, I could park it anywhere and it never broke down.

Lynne I don't think a 300cc motorcycle would do it for me.
