gosh i just wrote a comment somewhere else,  sorry for the mix-up guys but haven't been in here for ages.  i sent a message to Doug , thank you for the reply and was curious to know what kind of bikes your talking about.

Willow - To get more people here it is all about content - I noticed one of the groups was about Kittens, really is that what being a senior is all about? I guess I am of the new wave seniors, not that I like being pigeonholed as one - I like getting out doing things experiencing life. The more active and healthy a lifestyle you live the better your quality of life will be, and at the end of the day that is what it is all about quality of life.

Ruth - the Benmiller Inn is a great place to stay we do cycling tours out of there on a regular basis - the food pictured is from the Sunday Brunch, which by the way is included with your Saturdayover night stay.

I was thinking of spending a night at the Benmiller Inn as it is close to where my brother lives.  He is very ill with spine cancer and to visit back and forth makes a very long trip and thought i would stay at the inn,  is it nice and quiet and the picture of the food,  when is that available?  thanks!

It is a sad comment, Doug, that "no one comes here any more".  Has the whole world succumbed to the "too busy" epidemic?  Is there no time to interact with others, even in the broadest format of the internet?

Hi Gary - I am in Listowel, we have a bike shop here I also organize a lot of cycling tours. I guess I left about 2010, not much going on then, a little more now at least in regards to things that would interest today's Baby Boomer.

Hi Doug. Not a lot happening here lately but welcome back. Don't think I remember you. Maybe you were here one of the times I myself left.

Cycling! I've taken that up again myself since I retired. Interesting to get back in the saddle after abt. ten years away. Just moved back to London ON a couple of months ago following my retirement and bought a road bike. Loads of fun.

A beauty day today but not sure I'll get out on the bike as just got back from the dentist & mouth still frozen etc. . Whereabouts do you ride?

Comment by Doug Cota on September 28, 2013 at 10:14am

We visit interesting places on our bicycles, this is a picture of part of the breakfast buffet at Benmiller Inn and Spa.

Hi Everyone, I have been away from this site for a while, but thought I would re-connect and see what was happening. My overall interests are fairly wide - but, I do have a particular interest in cycling and cycling touring in Ontario. Anyone interested in starting up a conversation?
