I'm starting a discussion re. the best jamming songs - you know, if you're ever asked to play or sit in and you're not sure what the other people know, and you need something fun and easy?

I was thinking of a couple of 'one chord' songs that come to mind like "Run Through the Jungle" by Creedence or "One Thing Leads to Another" by the Fixx.

Any ideas people? Any other one chorder's or something simple?

Born in the USA is a one-chorder. Not much in there for us Canucks, though.

Gimme Some Lovin' (Steve Winwood)
Rockin' in the Free World
Sweet Home Alabama (I know, I know! But it is easy to switch "Alabama" to "Ca-na-da-a")
Black Betty
Crossroads
Brown-eyed Girl
The Boys Are Back in Town (The Busboys version)

Let's see if anyone can come up with more …
