Okay Glady, You win you are a good SCRAMBLED egg. : )
Alex, hope your headache finally left. This crazy wind doesn't help. Our's finally died down to less than blow the car door off the car kind of win. I was able to open the door and get out without having it slammed back on my leg. We didn't get the very heavy rain. A lot of areas outside the city got hit hard. Many were without power for hours. So Lynne wasn't alone : )
I hope all Kittie peeps have a lovely evening. Time to catch up on all the emails waiting for me : )
Lynne, Elie is married with FOUR sons. You would love his crazy self. He is so funny and he is nice to all he meets. He even has people he arrests cracking up and smiling. I keep telling him he needs to be on TV. : ) As you can tell, he's one of my favorites. He loves wintergreen life savers so I always have some waiting for him.
Sorry you had the crap with no power. That stinks. Do they give you any kind of discount for all the hours you don't have their "wonderful" service? Seems like they should pay you with how often they are out of service. In these days of modern technology, you would think they could figure out a way to better their system. DUH. Hope the power stays on and the rain stays away. GOOD LUCK!
Did you see, Laura named the Jamaica cat after you, MEANIE? hahahahahahaha
Happy Bagel tomorrow morning, Glady Take a bite for me : )
Thanks for the nice comments about my pix with Elie. HE is a trip. One of the first to welcome me when I got my transfer to this station and a riot. He treats everyone nice and is funny too. On the day this was taken, he and a female, Teri, took me to lunch at the Steak House located up the block from the station. It was in celebration of my 40th anniversary with the NYPD except almost 6 months late. He grabbed me when I got into work that day and said let's go otherwise I would have been better dressed and actually had some makeup on. : ) He specializes in doing school kids who go truant and ride the trains, etc. but the kids wind up liking him with his bigger than life personality and usually, he can get through the ones who aren't super badass already. I bet he's saved a whole bunch of kids from ruining their lives. As a friend of mine used to say about great people, he's a GOOD EGG. Thanks for posting, Arline Sunshine. Someday, I'll figure out how to do it but without a smart phone, I guess it won't help : )
Nightshift reporting in. Haven't caught up yet but wanted to tell Laura that it's better Phil didn't call the cops. I don't know how it works in Canada but in NYC if we go and lock up a custodial parent for endangering the welfare of a minor/s, the kids usually wind up in foster care at first until a judge in family court can sort it all out. Just sad the witch would do this with young girls in the house. What a selfish, stupid woman. I'm praying Phil wins custody. They need to be SAFE!!!
Laura glad you are back but sorry to hear what happened with the grandkids ...love to you all xoxo talk soon
hi Glady have a FANTASTIC date day tomorrow ... xoxoxo
Alex Enjoy your TV shows this evening. I hope the headache is better. Get those feets up and relax. Lynne G I will enjoy my date tomorrow morning. Mmmmmm, I can taste the bagel now! Losing your computer when the power goes out must be a down side to living in the boonies. Laura52 That kitty didn't seem to be a "meanie". I guess he/she/it was so I am not sad you didn't bring her home. Oh, boy, back to shopping for the MIL. Hope it goes well and she leaves you alone. Have a nice evening all and I will chat with you tomorrow afternoon. :)
