Unwrapping Beehives in Springtime

Here's a picture of a master beekeeper unwrapping his beehives in April and getting them ready for a long journey to Niagara Falls to pollinate fruit trees. This requires that the hives be inoculated against disease and I wrote about feeding antibiotics to honeybees on Wondercafe earlier this week. Keep your fingers crossed because the bees look very healthy this spring, and so this summer could be bumper crop!
