shirley mathews said… Yes he is a Bichon that I also had from the local LAPS here in Langley. He is not as big as that at the moment, he was choking a lot , so it cost me an arm and a leg to find out he was just too "FAT" so I have had to put him on a diet....poor fella....but I was told he could eat as many carrots as he liked.
He refused to do this, until my sister told me that he was not a horse and to boil the carrots first, now I do not have to walk far to find out where he has been to the bathroom as everything is bright orange!!!!!!!!!
Anyway his name is Barkley, he came with that name which is apt, as I worked for the Bank in Britain and he also Barked a lot.....but my Grandaughter calls him Brockely, which is a real treat, so Brockely eats carrots....Apt.
He has meant everything to me since I lost Bob coming up 2 years in June, Bob was sick for 20 years, so worked until this year when I retired, so getting used to single and no work, which is a lot to take on at once.
Wishing you a Happy New Year and I am so sorry that you lost your pets so close together, you must get another Bichon, so easy to handle and wonderful friends. Helps me keep fit with my walking too.
