Last Saturday at 6 am my wife’s daughter blessed us a beautiful baby boy --- they live 3 hours away from us, on the shores of Lake Huron, my wife told me that since “we" are new grandparents, “we" are going to visit them for a few days.
Now I love our kids (they're adult kids that don't live at home), I love grand kids that live far away, but babies are not quiet when you want them to be – isn’t that…

My mom is an 86 year old widow, still living in the family house built in 1959 , and most of the neighbors (widows) still live in the same places. It's interesting to watch them all gather - a gang of elderly women consisting with a collection of canes, walkers, power carts,their expeditions are usually all day events...you know.to go vote at the public school, about 1/4 mile down the road, or when they go shopping on seniors day at the local mall...
