This one goes out to our own am740 announcer Bill Gable, who just loves a burger.
The burger place, where they have the world's largest burger challanges is Denny's Beer Barrel Pub, located in Clearfield, PA.
They start out small, as we know it, which is their 2 pound burger. If you eat it in less than an hour, you'll recieve a t-shirt, a 1/2 off price, a completion certificate, and you're put into the hall of fame.
Next we have the pub super…

It's the most fattening time of the year
With that pumpking pie filling
and everyone swilling down eggnog and beer
It's the most fattening time of the year
It's the lip smackingest season of all
While your shopping…

At exactly 8:46am, let's bow our heads for a moment for all those who lost their lives on this day in 2001 at the World Trade Centre.
Peace to the…

Annette Tilden said… Thank you so much, Cindy. That was just the right thing to say, and I have so many fond memories. I won't get another kitten right away, but definitely some day.
Annette Tilden said… Oh, sorry, Cindy. That's our long weekend and I have company coming. I don't think I'm going to be able to make it for a while.
Annette Tilden said… Hey, Cindy, I was just thinking today if I didn't see any activity from you soon I would try to give you a call on the weekend. Still having computer problems? Okay, let's plan something for last week of May.
Annette Tilden said… Hi Cindy: Glad to see you're back. I hope you didn't get caught by those phone scammers who say they're from Microsoft and tell you that someone has hacked your computer but if you'll just let them into your programmes, they'll fix it for you. They have phoned me several times and something told me just in time that it was bogus.
So you aren't having much of a winter yet. Shhhh! It's snowing again here and I have to go out. Driving might be tricky but I'll have to risk it.
I hope you're over the upper respiratory problem too. That's nasty.
Talk to you later. Nettie.
Annette Tilden said… A wonderful New Year to you too, Cindy.
I finished my work a week ago Thursday. Now time to relax. I love the picture of you, Bear and Chubbs.
Winnie is doing well. I found something to relieve her arthritis and she's getting more active.
I have to dash and do some shopping - don't even have milk for my coffee.
All the best in 2012, and I'm looking forward to another trip to see you in the spring or fall. Not the summer unless it's a cool one. Too darn hot in the car.
Hugs, Nettie.
Annette Tilden said… Thanks, Cindy. The weather is very nice here today. A couple of nights ago we had freezing rain and in the morning when the sun shone, all the trees were sparkling.
Lots of people think Mark and I are twins -- LOL. He's 12 years younger.
Don't forget BB hand-delivered a beer to me when I was at your place a few weeks ago. I've been saving it just for tomorrow.
Cheers, Nettie

Hi Cindy Bear,
Such a nice surprize opening my email in the hospital and finding yours sitting in Zoomers! Thanks so much - it means a great deal to me to know that someone actually misses me. You'll never know! I've been in and out of the hospital more times than I care to remember since December of 2005 - 5 of them truly life threatening - that I have fallen so behind in my email work, and that is appalling!
Andy has been so good through all of this and so patient. I know the toll it has taken upon him as he looks tired and worn down. We'd like to go to Williamsburg, VA, for our Thanksgiving Day celebration as we were invited down by our time share to a meeting in the hope we could help them drum up more business. It's just like an hour or 1 1/2 hours long out of 3 days and nights, and we stay in a 5-star facility- namely theirs and get other perks besides so why not? We like the drive and everything else about it.
Well write again and tell me all the latest with you and what's been going on, and please cantact the rest of the gang and let them know I'm on the mend and will start writing again and would love to hear from them too.
Love and all the best,
Lonny "Ruffeon"
Annette Tilden said… Thanks again, Cindy. It was great. I was really tired and had to call an early night at Deryk and Helen's, but got a good sleep and this morning while Helen went to church, Deryk and I, heathens that we are, headed out for breakfast. Then we collected Helen and we all went to the Fort Eric track and slots. I came home $14.00 richer. Now I'm home again, had my cuddles with Winnie and am ready to head for bed.
I didn't know about the two Buffalo Club sites, so in confusion I posted on the wrong one. Alexander caught my post, Lynne didn't. Now I'm sure we're all confused - or more so than before. LOL. As my mother used to say, and I don't know why, "More fun, more people killed."
Cheers, Nettie.
Annette Tilden said… Hi Cindy:
Thank you for a great day. In spite of the rain, you and your cheery smile are like a ray of sunshine. I feel as if I know Buffalo much better now. And I enjoyed the place you picked for dinner,
There was only one car ahead of me at the border and the woman I dealt with, while not cheerful, was at least polite. I got back to my brother's at 6:00 on the dot.
I'm listening to your music while I'm writing. Glad we got that resolved.
Than you again. Cheers. Nettie.
