Hi Gail.  Sorry I didn't know about your new business.  I'll keep it in mind for when I take another cruise.  And if you have some ideas about what to do on the cruise, I'd like to hear about them.  This is my first cruise and I haven't given much time to plan anything on the port visits.  I guess I should do something with those or else I'll end up having little choice I expect.  Do you have much information on Mediterranean ports?  The cruise I am on is Celebrity leaving from Barcelona.  It goes to Rome, Naples, Santorini, Kusadasi (I was told that is Ephesus) Turkey, Mikonos, Athens, Malta then back to Barcelona.  It's probably the only time I will get to these places, so any thoughts you have would be welcome.

Hey Gail....I saw your comment in the other thread...would you really like to work in a greenhouse? There is one here on Trafalgar road that I took a part time job with that is supposed to start this month, but my homebased biz is getting so busy I do not think I will have time. And I am feeling bad about calling them to quit before I start! Very nice family run place with a couple of great middle aged ladies to work with.

Let me know....actually you could call me if you wanted to discuss this 416

Thanks for the welcome Gail. Only advise I can give at this time is that to achieve any success you MUST have written Goal(s) in place so that you do not loose sight of your dreams. Also no success without a bit of HARD work.

Ever since I had a quadruple by pass in April 2005, I have had the philosophy, "Every Day I wake up to is a good one." and whether I accomplish a little or a lot, they are all wonderful. So here I am past the 5 year watershed of survival, optimistic about the possibility of 20 or so more. But a friend of mine, just last week, laid down for a rest and never got up. He was only 65. There are no guarantees of another day, or even another hour. All we can do is make the most of now.

Blessings

Hi Gail :

I'm afraid this year has been a bit of a washout for us. I've had a problem hip for a number of years, always managed to work around it until May of this year, just before our first show. We have a set of timber steps that lead down to the deck, well the hip finally dumped me on the top step & I came down full force on th 6x6 riser. In the beginning not to bad could still get around by the 3rd day I seized up like an old engine. so far I've graduated from a cane to using a walker for stability. We have a call into the specialist, all I have to do is wait 9-12 months. However there have been marginal improvements, I no longer have to sleep all night sitting upright in an office chair, the pain when I lay down has left & the muscle cramps have all but gone so.... I feel I'm on the mend.

Take Care.

Bill
