- I am an Optician, that had worked for a store Chain for 15 years and they closed it under my feet. I have been miss placed ever since. I have lost my Mom in the past year and feel like part of me has died. However I do have an Angel in my life and her name is Avelyn she is my Granddaughter. She makes my heart sing. I love her dearly and never miss a chance to be with her or be in her presence. She is 6 months old and I pray I will be there in her life for many years to come. I have many wonderful friends and have had lots of tragedy, and sickness but none
of which had been able to hold me down. I love deeply, play hard, and I am true in my heart.

Hi Nancy Lee,
Sorry, I was away from Zoomers for a little while. I had some dental surgery and finally feeling like my old self again. I will not be eating any more popcorn ever again... kernel got stuck in my gum and created an infection (not fun).
Hopefully things are back to normal for you with your hubby back by now, since your last Zoomer mssg. I am really looking forward to Christmas this year, my little grand children will be coming down from BC to spend Christmas with us. Santa always drops by, and the kids manage to get a glimpse of his 'derriere", as he jumps off the roof .Well , Fall is certainly here now! :o(.. Its cold, dreary and rainy). Time for comfort foods,
having friends over for dinner, and cozy up by the fireplace with a good book.
I see you have 2 darling cats, we have 2 little dogs. They entertain us and sure give us lots of enjoyment.I hope you are enjoying your new friends on Zoomers, lets keep in touch.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. It must be so difficult for you. How blessed you now are though with your little Evelyn. Looking at your image gallery, I think you and I will enjoy sharing and growing our friendship on Zoomers. It seems we might have a few things in common. I love you little kittens, your sunset pic on the lake, your little garden on your deck.... These are the simple things that I also enjoy in life, except I have 2 small dogs, and 3 grandchildren. My grand kids live in Victoria BC and only see them once a year at X-Mas when they come down to spend the Holidays at the chalet with us in Mt-Tremblant. Looking forward to chatting more soon.
