I need to buy a late model used car in Toronto

Posted on February 15, 2009 at 5:38pm 0 Comments

I am actively looking to replace my dying car with a much newer but not brand new car. I'm considering a Toyota Matrix 2005-2008 or perhaps a Suzuki Areo in the same year range. I have about $10,000. cash to spend. That will leave me enough for insurance. If you have suggestions let me know. You can write to me directly at

Zoomers Walking Group - Toronto

Posted on January 2, 2009 at 8:35pm 6 Comments

Hello: I would like to start a Zoomers Walking Group in Toronto. I think it would provide an appropriate opportunity for many Zoomers to meet face to face. If the a Zoomers Walking Group is successful here then it could spread across Canada. My idea is that the Zoomers Walking Group would meet once a month for starters. If participants want to meet more frequently that could happen too. I think it would be a good idea for those people interested in a Zoomers Walking Group to work out the… Continue

Looking for ideas to help men 50+ address health and wellness issues

Posted on October 24, 2008 at 5:20pm 2 Comments

I would like to hear from people who may have experience working with men in a group setting. I am looking for fresh ideas to help men 50+ discuss their health and wellness issues.
I look forward to your responses.

How did your conversation with ParticiPaction go? The idea of a data base sounds terrific. I had lunch with another Zoomer today who would be interested in a Walking Club. But what we need is one person to start the group and organize it. I nominate you, because I already have three groups on the go, another person has two, a third is working full time, and so it goes. Groups work better than discussions because people sign up and more or less make a committment. How about it?
Cheers, Annette

I know four Zoomers in Toronto, including myself, who would be interested in a Walking Club. The subject came up for the first time on Friday. Too bad we didn't know about your discussion before. If you'd like to co-ordinate, drop by my page. Warmly, Annette

Hi Seymore: Since last Friday I've been talking to three other Zoomers in Toronto about starting a walking club. We didn't know that you had this discussion going. How about getting it out to everybody by starting a group and sending a blanket invitation to all Zoomers to join?
Warmly, Annette

Women have learned that to feel good you have to look good. For men over 50, perhaps, a shave and haircut and a little Mr Clairol is needed. Smaller glasses will also update their look.
