Hi Lillian: I have lung wort all over the property. I had it at my previous home and was thrilled to see it growing practically wild here. It has what I call babies constantly. I also do Cosmos, but I never have a whole lot of luck with clematis. I had an arbor gate built last summer and would love to grow clematis there, but I don't know if I can stand the disappointment again. They grow so far, get a few flowers and then the stems start to turn brown to black and die back. Geez!!....terri
Yes, chat room is ridiculous isn't it? I suppose if you want to speak to someone in particular, you would have to arrange a time to meet there and then move on to another site. (?)
About gardening, I live in Sudbury and have found much success with my plants. Lungwort is a beautiful plant and it multiplies readily as well. My hostas grew so big, I will have to split it again next spring. I also purchased many plants from a lady in my neighbourhood who was trying to cut down on her overgrown garden. I've found that these are already tried and true and do very well when transplanted.
I have placed an arbour at the entrance to my garden to accommodate my clematis plants. and behind this I planted Cosmos (annuals). I will do the same again this year as these give offf beautiful colors and a whispy sense to the garden. I will try to find some pictures of these plants and post them on my page.
Hi Terri, thanks for the compliments on my pictures. Photography is one of my passions. I took a couple of classes many years ago. Just the basics, but where I learned the most is by joining a photo club. I haven't been a member for a few years but it's a great place for amatuer photographers. The exchange and being around others that share your passion is inspiring.
Love your pink page, by the way. Looks familiar! LOL
