Glad to have a friend from Victoria, B.C. My wife of 27 years died in 1997, of cancer. She was 48 years old and had been sick for a few years before that. We raised two sons together. I retired in 2007, from Canada Post."

- Hi Walter-even though I am on the Westcoast, I am quite familiar with your part of Ontario. I have quite a few of my late husbands relatives there who I am in touch with quite frequently. Being on my own for a couple of years now, has taken some adjustment after being married for a number of years. Did you find the same? I am getting on with life now, and enjoying a number of activities. Have not retired yet, but will do in a year or so, think it is best to keep busy, but do enjoy by time with my 1 1/2 year old grandson.I too love good mysteries and some old classics.
