"Reply All Free-for-All" or RAFFA is when friends want to slack off at work by emailing each other on one continuous email. All members of the RAFFA put their email address on one email and write their message and press the "Reply All" button so that every member receives that email. Ode to the Dogs That Are Dressed Better Than I Am!

When Poofy Dog first lived in the building, he was one heck of a Dapper Dandy. Poofy was mostly terrier mixed with a bit of this and some of that. Once upon a time he was better dressed that any fashionista with spiffy hats, coats, and quite frankly, a hairstyle that did not quite fit a…

MY LETTERS TO POLITICIANS ---- Updates from me

Today, I sat here, in my room, pondering the meaning of life, wondering what I could do to make the world a better place to live, to change it on some small level, I decided to start a new project, a letter-a-day campaign, updates from me, to politicians.

I started today, this Monday, April 29th, by writing to the President of the United States.

I've written to him before and actually have gotten replies from him in letters sent to my home, mostly cease and…

MY REAL LIFE IS WORTH A D ---

Here lately, as if by magic, my mind has decided to write poetry, bad poetry, but poetry none the less.

My English comp professor would grade me INCOMPLETE if she had read half the stuff but who cares, she gave me an A + on a paper I wrote that was suppose to be on a 'true' person who had some meaning in my life.

The other papers, I wrote the truth and got a D -.

"Unbelievable, work harder on your realism...." she wrote on one paper, a place that…

A Doctor Who Trust Me - sort-of

Ever since I got hit by that car, I’ve been seeing far too many doctors. Collar bone repair, and check-ups. Hip replacement. And check-ups. Cancer testing and surgeries. And check-ups.

At the one-year point, my collar bone was declared healed.  My hip replacement is an experimental model so I have to go back every year for 7 years.  It is healed. They’re just concerned about possible problems.…

My Madonna Material Girl Life Disappeared Yesterday

Two days ago I finally threw out a drawer of items that have been with me for at least 33 years. I was desperately trying to keep these little Lycra memories but when the elastic disintegrated under my touch it was time to go to that Madonna landfill in the sky. During my retail reign, price was…
