Justin Bieber Caught on Film -- What is Wrong with Him?

If Justin Bieber was my son I would be burning up the phone lines right now. This morning after viewing part of his deposition on Canada Am I have to repeat what I have known all along. Bieber is just a punk--an uneducated illiterate punk . This kid may just be the biggest jerk in all of entertainment and I feel sorry for people who defend him. Shades of Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer?

What if Franz Lehar Really was His Father?

As I rode down the escalator to the subway system a month ago I heard sounds that were similar to fingernails being dragged across a blackboard. It was a noise so bad my teeth were vibrating and as I got closer I found out that one man was creating this noise all by himself.

There by the side of the wall stood a man playing the violin very badly, to put it mildly. As he began to adjust the strings before playing another piece of noise I dropped a dollar in his violin…

Remembering the Fast Times of the Canadian 80’s

I looked at a newspaper clipping today that featured the 80’s rock band "Platinum Blonde" from Toronto and smiled. Looking at the almost white strands of hair mixed with my blonde hair I started to have flashbacks of one of my favourite eras- the 80’s. I remembered my "big hair" that contained so much hairspray I must have busted a hole in the ozone layer. I saw Platinum Blonde at least 6 times and thought guys were really pretty in those days. I loved their feminine clothing and the way…

Histrionics! 5 "Intense" Maestros

The "maestro" must welds his or her baton with a melodramatic flair — to raise the violin section to soaring heights, or quell the horns for a mournful pause. But it's not only gesture that leads the orchestra into battle, alas, it's also those naked facial expressions.

In the first edition of Histrionics!, we look beyond the black tails at these…
