I made a promise to the Lord, I would not be afraid, and he gave me light...
It was as the burden of everything was lifted at that moment, the steps became easier and I became happier, the spirit was in me as I kept moving forward towards the light, a voice spoke to me, saying, "You are my child, I shall guide you throughout your life...."
....I kept moving forward, never afraid of a misstep, never alone, though I walked through the shadows of the valley of death, I was not afraid, for he was my Shepard, guiding me through it all.
The sun witnessed my travels, each day, it rose and kept me company and each day, it would set as my strength grew weak and I rested for awhile, starting again anew the next day in my travels.
Awake! Said the sun, merrily.
And Porky said, "Dude! We gotta go back man, I forgot to grab me a deer bone! WOOF!"
And Tigger, Leader sometimes of this adventure into the corn field, said, "Dude! I found us some food!! Follow me! Follow me!"
"It was right here! Wait....maybe it was....oh yeah....FOLLOW ME!! FOLLOW ME!!!!"
"It's like corn, man!!"
And Pamela said, from her spot in Heaven, "Stop drinking that water from Grammy's secret stash under the sink!! Makes you write weird things!!"
And Jesus said....AMEN!!! OH LAWD, AMEN!!!!!
