Chocolate- Sweet Suicide, Treat or Needed Intervention?

Is this you?

Sudden desperation to have chocolate regularly - this can be daily or even several times a day.

Failing in your many attempts to stop eating chocolate.

Making certain that you maintain a steady supply of chocolate no matter who sells or gives it to you.

You do things to obtain the chocolate that you normally wouldn't do.

Driving while eating or doing other risky activities when you're under the influence of chocolate.

Focusing more and more time and energy on getting and "using" chocolate.

After getting rid of your stash once and for all; do you suddenly become a rabid animal sniffing around for the nearest fix?

Should we ban the next candy holiday where sugar somehow finds its way back into your home?

Is this some sort of government conspiracy?

Okay let me grab a candy bar and get back to you about all of this.

Once we hit forty, women only have about four taste buds left: one for vodka, one for wine, one for cheese, and one for chocolate. -Gina Barreca

I realize Larabars are not chocolate but it's my only salvation around all of this.:)

In all honesty it'd be a suburban dictionary. Lacks the panache of "urban".

Chocolate is good for you. It lowers blood pressure, has antioxidants, is good for your heart.  WebMD says so:  http://www.webmd.com/diet/news/20030827/dark-chocolate-is-healthy-c...  and  http://www.webmd.com/diet/news/20040601/dark-chocolate-day-keeps-do...  Enjoy!

I think you need to make up the Steve Sherman Urban Dictionary.:)

I just made up "frouked". Nothing more than an alternate f-word. After all, there are ladies present!

Anyhow, better than a detailed description of GI disfunction, methinks.

Marsha: You do not need to lose weight. You look fabulous.. Enjoy the Chocolate

Funny you should mention this.  In my attempt to lose weight, I've stopped buying my weekly bag of Dove Promises.  And then, just minding my own business doing my regular grocery shopping, I came across a Branch's display of chocolate caramel nuts, and now I look for excuses to stop at the store.  Three go in a bag, one goes in my mouth!

I am suffering OD from all the candy and ham that comes with the inlaws. Not worried about weight, since eating all that good stuff froucked up the old works.
