Looking around the blogTO website for that plant here in TO around Dupont St. that processes nuclear material for shipment elsewhere I stumbled across this. I've had an interest in radio for years so knew about this.

lol Gary and terrorists on the FedEx side of the airport near the runway is a shooting range
Comment by Gary on January 29, 2013 at 6:20pm Yeah I would tend to agree Linda. What with concern over terrorists and the lunatic fringe I think it would be wise to be part of an organized group and not go wandering about by oneself.
Comment by Linda Seccaspina on January 29, 2013 at 4:10pm My dad used to haul is to Dorval airport to watch the planes land. In those days it was innocent but you have to wonder if these plane spotters are not on some sort of security list now..:)

"
West-end residents are looking for answers after they discovered that an unassuming building on Lansdowne Ave. is actually a nuclear facility licensed to produce nearly 2,000 tonnes of radioactive uranium dioxide pellets each year.
The General Electric-Hitachi plant has been processing natural uranium powder into centimetre-long pellets that are assembled into fuel bundles elsewhere for Canada’s nuclear reactors since 1965."
