What Really Happened At Rob Ford's #ONPoli BBQ
Ah, Ontario — AKA #ONPoli — Politics. How they amuse us! Especially when a Simcoe Day long weekend BBQ is taking place.
Case in point? Toronto Mayor Rob Ford's recent BBQ at the family home, which was breathlessly described in his Facebook photo album as an "evening of appreciation" for Finance Minister Jim Flaherty, with special guests that included many city councillors, Toronto area MPs and — quelle surprise! — Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
Granted, we can only glean from this Facebook album what "officially" happened: handshakes, speeches, well wishers. So it was just our luck when we were anonymously emailed these photos, which shows a different side to this BBQ (not to mention of the friendship between the Toronto Mayor and the Canadian Prime Minister).
