THE SUN WILL DEVOUR US ----
Cold morning, walking to work, it was the only way to keep me from going crazy, crazier than I was, lost my mind back in 1971.
The sun decided to rise, to tell me, HELLO KIND SIR!
I stopped and pulled out my phone to take his picture. He smiled.
"I'm off to work!"
Before the day, the day before, maybe longer, the mail lady had stopped by my door, knocking.
"I have a present for you!"
It was the angel bear, a guardian sent to me by my cousin and my aunt.
"You need a guardian!! I am here!" the bear told me. "I will not let you sleep alone!"
Life is good when you have a guardian and the sun.
The sun wants to devour us, but he won't. "You guys probably give me heart burn!"
And we would....
I will continue to journey down the road, a trip and a half, never looking back, except maybe to look in the rear view mirror, just to make sure everything is still back there, like old packages, grief, hate, love, sex in a bed and breakfast.
Honeymooners, still young, still with hope of the future, kids running in the yard, white picket fence, a better tomorrow, then the truth hits, here I sit in the middle of the night, listening to some music, writing some gibberish, wishing I would be the one in the ground.
God doesn't even know why, he keeps saying, "It's in the plan!" but there's no plan.
It's all an illusion, this plan thing.
It was started as a joke, God was bored one day and wanted to mess with us, but he wanted to have a reason.
"It's all in the PLAN!!! Do not question.....IT IS A SIN TO QUESTION A PLAN!"
And we the mortals said, "OTAY!!!" And went back to hitting up on whatever weeds we found in the desert!
I wish there was a plan, and God would let me take a peek.
I can only imagine my part in that plan.
- Save a crack whore from becoming a crack whore.
- That's it!!
- Really!
- Stop reading, there's nothing left in the plan for you, Jason!
I then wander off into the desert where I discover, the cure for pale skin.
