Weekends on AM740 are times for reflection and celebration. You’ll hear great music, of course, but also some unique cultural glimpses and snapshots of the best that Toronto has to offer. Here are a few highlights of what’s on this weekend.


8am-9am :: From A Woman's Perspective with Marilyn Weston
This Saturday learn all about minimally invasive dentistry from Dr. Dana Colson when she explains invisable craces, implants, snap on smiles, mercury free and pain free dentistry and more. 4pm-6pm :: Applause with Michael Englebert
Michael has selections from The Jazz Singer, Bells are Ringing and the original Broadway cast recording of Jersey Boys and songs from Broadway and Hollywood star, Dorothy Lamour. Later on in the show, Michael soundtrack hits from Easy Virtue, Sound of Music, Big River and Lucky to Be Me.

6pm-7pm :: Back to Live with Jean deBeaubassein

8am-10am :: Right On The Money with Wayne Baxter

noon-1pm :: Mike Filey’s Toronto
Mike remembers the opening of the world's tallest free-standing structure, Toronto's CN Tower which happened this week in 1976. Join this Sunday to remember this historical date in words and music starting at noon.

1pm-2pm :: Celebrity Spotlight with Larry Jackson
It's "Diva Summer" on Celebrity Spotlight and featured this week are the hits from pop idol Cher.

2pm-4pm :: Vintage Favourites with Gene Stevens
It's Father's Day this Sunday, and Gene Stevens brings back the great songs about "Dad" from the 'Vintage Era' - songs by Gene Autry, Perry Como, Al Jolson, plus some new surprises by Dan Hill and John McDermott - it's two hours of emotion - humorous and sentimental - this Sunday 2-4pm.

4pm-6pm :: A Little Breath of Scotland with Denis Snowdon
A fathers day edition of a little breath of Scotland, and a tribute to Kenneth McKellar, who will celebrate his 82nd birthday on June 23rd.

7pm-midnight :: Big Band Sunday Night with George Jonescu
