When Writer Wednesday hits, we then do the following:
Earlier this week a deal was reached to end the 113 day NHL lockout. For the latest edition of this feature, we're putting a call out for pieces that explore: "Hockey Night In Canada" (or "Hockey Night In [Insert location here]" for our writers south of the boarder and across the pond).

Gotta dig deep for this one. Grew up with the Chicago Black Hawks, and went to minor league hockey games in Milwaukee. Even down here, most of the players on the ice were Canadian.
