More than 20,000 Egyptians rallied in protest at Cairo's Tahrir Square, demanding President Hosni Mubarak and his new government to go today: '"Mubarak go away to Saudi or Bahrain" and "We don't want you, we don't want you," chanted men, women and children in a sea of people that began gathering from the early hours'. The SPCA & the RCMP are investigating the killing of 100 British Columbia sled dogs when bookings for Outdoor Adventures at Whistler dwindled at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. The investigation began when reports surfaces that a man who worked at the company developed post-traumatic stress disorder after being involved with the "execution-style" killing. (National Post)

Consumer backlash continues for the CRTC's unpopular decision to force small internet service providers to restrict their internet service plans. The federal Liberals are now calling for a reversal on the decision: 'we consider this decision to be anti-competitive, because it does penalize the small internet service providers,' says Liberal technology critic Marc Garneau.
