Barbara, Thank you for your kind words. I had a busy day yesterday at Sunnybrook; operation is scheduled for April 19th, then we go from there. Hope you are doing well and looking forward to Easter and springtime.
I am finally getting around to replying ,many thanks,I have since tried to access your music site and have completely lost it,don't know where or how.The last day or two I have been making bread, and also a large pot of chili, and have just returned inside from the garden where I finally removed my turnips thanks again, sincerly.neale goodale
That would be great, Barb. I'd be happy to cover the mailing costs. I have binders with autographs all organized. Don't know what will happen to them, but maybe I'll pass them along to a Canadian museum or archives. Interesting to look back at them now- I don't have a signed photo of Pearson, but do have one of Louis St. Laurent.
Yesterday I rewarded myself for sandwich making and went to Niagara to play the slots. Twenty dollars went up to 50 and back down to zero! I didn't use your method with the spoon but will try it next time. There are lots of recipes for egg salad and adding a bit of parmesan cheese was yummy. Arranging a platter with sandwiches cut in four is pretty easy, the most time taking part was peeling. I miscalculated the amount of eggs needed and will be enjoying boiled eggs this week! Have a good day Barb.
I wish you a good day today. Winter can be long and staying home as you must do for your health right now,I imagine must require a whole lot of patience.
I don't know when I will get around to fixing my pictures, they are from my Blackberry. I like the way your slideshop appears and as I write this I am glancing up to enjoy them. Even the winter scene you are using as wallpaper appeals to me. Perhaps you have a laptop computer which my sister urges me to get,so far I am sticking with the old slow desktop. I take comfort knowing there are only 12 days before Spring, little snow drops are already popping up in some of my neighbours gardens, and in Hamilton we enjoyed rather warm temperatures the other day,it gave us a brief glimpse of Spring, but the weather is fickle. Any way,Barb,I have to boil and peel 36 eggs today to make sandwiches for an event tomorrow, wish me luck!
Good morning, Barb. Your page is looking good. I may be sitting on it for a while to listen to your music. I hope you got a good rest. It was a treat having you here. And thank you again for the wonderful lunches, the wine and eclairs, and your help in picking the new bedding.
Now I have about three hours of material ready to be transcribed and that's just the first batch, so must get at it.
Your photographs of Saratoga gardens and various feline friends are cheering me up this snowy winter day. Living alone, the Zoomer site is a godsend in the early hours when phone calls are not welcomed. I have 3 cats,Gigi,Fluffy, and Little B short for little nuisance. At the moment I am a long distance grandmother,of a marvellous little girl called Winter. Your artistic eye Barbara rests on sights most of us gloss over and I want to say thanks.
Hi Barb, I'm back home. My car was serviced and ready to be picked up before Donna and I were even finished lunch. It was an easy drive home but the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow is grizzly. We'll have to play it by ear in the morning. Don't you have a blood test in the morning too?
I'm so glad you're back home, Barb. I was going to come over this afternoon if you're up to it, but right now it's snowing pretty heavily here. If it lightens up, I'll come over later. And I will take you for your appointment, but just to clarify, is it Friday or Tuesday. You said the 21st before.
Well, in the interest of trying to cheer you up, I thought you might like to know it is I who am sick and not you, according to the long screed by MC on the Coffee Shop. Even if they're only popping in and out, I'm glad you're at your daughters and not at home alone. I know you'd be happier at home but bide your time.
Call me any time, except after 5:00pm. As you know, I usually can't hear the phone then.
I found a new game to take the place of "Roads of Rome" of which I have finished all the expert levels at last. This one is called "Island Tribe" and it got challenging really fast.
"Good morning all Barb It was nice to be the 40,000 post but it meant nothing to me. The thing I felt best about was Alex and his terrific Kitties Site. Quite a guy to be able to run and control such a great…"
